Station Hall is located on the first floor of a Victorian building. Unfortunately, the original architecture made no provision for lift access, and there is currently no step-free access to the hall.
Access is via an external staircase. Accessibility is a top priority for us and we are actively exploring options to improve access in the future.
(note there are a couple of flights of stairs to this venue and we charge £25 extra as we need to send a two man crew due to 30mins parking restrictions and taking the items up the two flights of stairs)
We will require 1 hour window slots before the party starts and after the party finishes please. Please bear this in mind when you book your hall direct with the venue.
The Space
Station Hall is a bright, airy and versatile venue of approximately 160m², with a maximum capacity of 100 people. The space can be set up in different layouts and works well for everything from small gatherings to larger events.
Looking for somewhere to run a class, host a workshop, hold a meeting or training session, rehearse with your choir, put on a concert, stage a performance, hold an art exhibition, screen a film, or throw a party? We’d love to hear from you.
Our programme includes regular classes and workshops led by local organisations, alongside free and low-cost community events we organise ourselves. We hire the hall to charities/not-for-profits and commercial hirers, and we also partner with organisations to deliver funded programmes.

Parking & Loading
Monday–Saturday: You may pull up outside Station Hall at the end of Railton Road to unload for up to 30 minutes.
Sundays: Railton Road is closed due to the market; however free parking is available on surrounding streets.
On weekdays there are pay-and-display bays nearby, and some streets offer free parking except between 12pm–2pm (Monday–Friday).
Children’s Party Packages
Perfect for a standard party with time to set up and tidy away.
Ideal if you’d like a more relaxed set-up or extra party time.
Additional Hours
£50 / hour
Subject to availability. Must be booked in advance.
All set-up, party time and pack-down must take place within your booked hire period.
